Hello, I'm Anil, currently working at Open Financial as a Director of Engineering and I'm based out of Bangalore. Previously, I worked with Cogoport as a Senior Lead Engineer where I grew into the role of an Engineering Manager, overseeing two dynamic teams—Business Finance and DevOps—comprising a total of eleven skilled professionals.

My interests span a wide spectrum, from diving into the latest technological advancements to indulging in my hobbies like motorcycling, cooking, and traveling. Beyond my professional role, I'm deeply passionate about startups, economics, and the dynamic world of esports.

My technical toolkit is diverse and powerful. Proficient in languages like Python, Kotlin, Ruby, JavaScript/TypeScript, and more, I find solace in frameworks such as FastAPI, Micronaut, Laravel, and Ruby on Rails. Platforms like AWS are my playground, and I'm well-versed in database systems including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. My enthusiasm for exploring cutting-edge technologies is evident through my implementations of Kafka and RabbitMQ.

However, my aspirations go beyond technical expertise. My aim is to evolve into an engineering leader in the coming years, refining both my technical prowess and people management skills. I strike a balance between formality and approachability, with my communication style aligning with an 80-20 principle—80 percent formal and 20 percent casual.
